My name is Monica Purvis and I am one of the school counselors for Berrien Elementary School. I received my National Certification in counseling in 2013 and my state license in counseling in 2014. I have enjoyed helping and seeing smiles on other people's faces for over twenty seven years. My purpose as a counselor is to assist students in overcoming obstacles in order to be successful socially, emotionally, and academically.
