CHAMPS Graduation was held at BES on Friday April 15, 2022. We appreciate our School Resourse Officer, Bill Woolridge, very much for fasciliating this program for us. The flexible, twelve-week program includes a weekly hour-long lesson from a C.H.A.M.P.S. Certified Deputy Sheriff. Subject matter includes:
- Internet Safety
- Bullying (Gangs, Violence, Peer Pressure, Choices, and Consequences)
- Alcohol
- Drugs (Marijuana, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, and Prescription Drug Abuse)
- Outdoor Activities (ATV Safety, Fishing, Hunting and Firearm Safety)
- C.H.A.M.P.S. Project (Essay / Poster Contest)
