Badges for Life Blood Drive

Berrien Elementary School will be holding its annual Badges for Life Blood Drive with the OneBlood Organization. The blood drive is in support of first responders, military, and local public safety officials. The blood drive will be held on February 18th from 12pm - 6pm at Berrien Elementary School. ASP Music & Drama Classes Bring Dr. Seuss' stories to life in Seussical the Musical

Students in the Afterschool Program's Music & Drama Classes performed Seussical the Musical for their spring play. The musical is based off some of Dr. Seuss' classic stories which includes Horten Hears a Who, Horten Hatches the Egg, McElligot's Pool and the Cat in the Hat. The performance was held on Wednesday, April 24th in the BES Cafe. A great time was had by all in attendance. In addition to last Wednesday's performance all BES students were treated to an encore performance of Seussical on Monday, April 29th.

Georgia Milestones Testing

Georgia Milestones Testing will start for BES on April 15th - April 24th. Due to weather issues on Friday, April 19th which caused Berrien County Schools to be closed Georgia Milestones Testing will conclude on Wednesday, April 24th.
Please help your child during testing days by:
*Keeping a "normal" routine at home.
*Making sure your child has plenty of rest and eats breakfast.
*Getting your child to school on time each morning of the testing process.
*Re-Scheduling any appointments to a later time.

5th Grade CHAMPS Star Student

During the 5th grade CHAMPS Graduation, on Friday, March 29th, one student was chosen as the Star Student and was recognized for their overall hard work and behavior during the entire program. Wayne Dailey was chosen and he received the Sheriff's Star Trophy! Congratulations Wayne!

5th Grade CHAMPS Collage Poster Winners

During the 5th grade CHAMPS Program, 5th grade students had a chance to participate in a Collage Poster Contest. Three students from the entire 5th grade were chosen as the best poster contest winners and were announced during the CHAMPS Graduation on Friday, March 29th!
