Safety Drill Dates & Times 📢
In accordance with state requirements, each school must conduct an annual intruder alert drill by October 1st. The following dates and times have been scheduled for the 2025 intruder drills. These drills will be conducted in the same manner as in previous years. Please note: these are practice drills ONLY.

It is that time of the year again. We are excited to open up the nomination process for Teacher of the Year! Berrien County has remarkable educators! We would like to recognize those teachers who have gone above and beyond their normal duties and responsibilities to make a difference in the lives of Berrien County children and the community at large. Berrien Elementary School will host its annual Career Fair on Friday, March 21st. During the event, students will have the opportunity to hear from various community professionals about their careers. This experience aims to inspire students to reflect on their future and generate excitement about the possibilities ahead.

Our Title One parent input meeting will be on March 11th at BES at 5:00 PM. Please join us to give us input for the 2025-2026 school year.

Tuesday, March 11, 2025, join us for fun and interactive science and engineering activities in the gym. We will also have the book fair open in the media center. Can't wait to see you there!

We are celebrating Kindness Week next week, February 10th-13th, here at BES! Participate with us by spreading kindness everywhere and dressing up!

BES is holding our first "Spill the Tea" parent event. “Spill the Tea” is an event for parents to come and spend time with their child in the media center. During this event, parents will have an opportunity to learn about certain literacy skills and standards that are part of the school’s curriculum. This event is meant as a learning experience where parents will hopefully be able to gain more information about our school literacy plan and curriculum. Parents are encouraged to come, enjoy, learn, and ask questions to gain more insight on their child’s educational journey. We want to help you make your child successful! We are a team!
