C.H.A.M.P.S. Program

MISSION STATEMENT:

"To provide an educational program for Georgia's youth, which provides guidance, and the skills, ability and knowledge to be safe, healthy, and happy, in preparation for a successful life."

The Choosing Healthy Activities & Promoting Safety (CHAMPS) Program is a program to help our youth resist pressures which may influence them to experiment with alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, inhalants, and other drugs. They will also learn about ways to avoid bullying, peer pressure, violent behavior and making good choices. This program was started by the Georgia Sheriff's Association and is taught to the 5th grade students by a Deputy Sheriff from your Sheriff's Office.
